About the business and the role

ONZL provides professional secretariat services to industry groups, not-for-profit organisations and Government departments across New Zealand. Our motto is ‘we’ll take care of it’.

ONZL is growing and this role has been established to provide membership and business support to support ONZL clients.  

We’re looking for someone full time to join our team. Once you are established in the role there is the option to work 2 days a week from home.

Job tasks and responsibilities

If you love variety, have an eye for detail, enjoy using technology and being part of a small team working with lots of different clients, this could be the role for you.

The successful candidate will:

  • Onboard new members and respond to membership enquiries

  • Arrange meetings and events

  • Manage client databases and associated information

  • Maintain website content on behalf of clients

  • Assist with the delivery of events

  • Prepare and collate meeting papers

  • Maintain documentation

  • Provide administrative support to the team

  • Provide document formatting (Word, Powerpoint) support

  • Take minutes of meetings

  • Manage various travel arrangements

Skills and experience

We’d love to hear from you if you have relevant, proven administration experience and:

  • Love technology

  • Minimum of 4 years administration experience

  • Have a strong eye for detail

  • Thrive in a busy, varied role

  • Like a small, friendly and supportive work environment

  • Consider yourself a super-organised professional with great relationship skills

Experience with using web content management systems is ideal but not essential, but you must a love for using technology.
